Urgent Care and Virtual Primary Care, What's the Difference?

DialCare Urgent Care and DialCare Virtual Primary Care both provide top quality care from fully licensed doctors and are easy to use anywhere within the continental U.S. Both services provide treatment for many of the same illnesses and injuries. The main difference is the initial consultation and the duration of treatment.

DialCare Urgent Care

  • Urgent, non-emergency care - no baseline
  • Different physician for each consult
  • Appointments available 24/7/365, including holidays
  • Acute illnesses
  • Short-term, non-DEA medications
  • At-home lab not included
  • Pediatric urgent care included for most issues

DialCare Virtual Primary Care

  • Yearly checkups, physician determines a baseline
  • You choose one primary doctor
  • Appointments 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 7 days a week, not including holidays
  • Ongoing/chronic issues
  • Medications for ongoing conditions
  • At-home lab testing kits*
  • Health care access for 18+
