DialCare Urgent Care

  • Where can I sign up for DialCare Urgent Care?

    Simply register online or call (855) 335-2255 to create and register your account.


  • How do I use DialCare Urgent Care?

    After you sign up, you can request a consult 24/7 all year, including holidays, ONLINE, over the PHONE or through our DialCare mobile app.


  • When should I use DialCare Urgent Care?

    Urgent Care can be used for non-emergency ailments such as allergies, cold and flu, pink eye and urinary tract infections. It can also be used if your doctor is closed or you live far from them. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.


  • How much do phone and video consultations cost?

    Check with your specific plan for details.


  • Can I use DialCare Urgent Care while I'm on the go?

    Absolutely! DialCare Urgent Care is available while you're traveling within the United States.


  • Are prescriptions guaranteed?

    No, prescriptions are not guaranteed, and are written at the discretion of your doctor. There are no prescriptions available for DEA-controlled substances or other classes of medication such as mood-altering drugs, including antidepressants, antianxiety or lifestyle medications.


DialCare Virtual Primary Care

  • Who can sign up for DialCare Virtual Primary Care?

    You can sign up for Virtual Primary Care if you are 18 or older and a resident in any of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. Please note that at-home tests are currently unavailable in New York.


  • When should I use Virtual Primary Care?

    Virtual Primary Care is your dedicated primary care physician for yearly checkups and ongoing care for conditions like hypertension, diabetes, etc., or if you're feeling ill. When you're instructed by another physician to "follow up with your doctor," this is who they're referring you to.


  • Does DialCare Virtual Primary Care include pediatric care?

    Not at this time. DialCare Virtual Primary Care physicians treat members 18 years of age and older.


  • In what language is DialCare Virtual Primary Care offered?

    Currently DialCare Virtual Primary Care is offered in the English language.


  • Can I use DialCare Virtual Primary Care while I'm on the go?

    Absolutely! DialCare Virtual Primary Care is available when you're traveling within the United States.


  • What type of equipment do I need for a DialCare Virtual Primary Care visit?

    You'll need to have high speed internet connectivity, a webcam and access to Google Chrome as video visits are utilized by our providers.


  • When can I schedule my appointment?

    You can access your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week to request an appointment, but consults will take place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in patient's time zone, Monday through Sunday, excluding holidays.


  • Can I select my doctor based on preferences such as specialty, gender and/or language?

    Our specialist profiles display information about each professional, including specialty, gender and language. This information will display when making your specialist selection online.


  • Will I continue to meet with the same provider?

    You'll choose a provider who meets your needs and preferences. You'll see the same provider on a consistent basis to have continuity of care. If you wish to switch to a different provider, your request can be accommodated.


  • How does the at-home lab testing work?

    Your at-home lab kit will be delivered directly to you. You'll then follow the step-by-step instructions to complete and return the test. Results are sent to your primary care physician and available on your member portal. Your PCP and care team will follow up to discuss your results and care plan. At-home lab kits are not currently available to members in the state of New York.


  • What information will I need to provide?

    A comprehensive risk assessment will be completed to help identify health issues early using at-home genetic or lab screenings in order to inform you about targeted interventions. Lab tests are delivered to your doorstep and easily returned in prepaid packages. As a member, you also get access to a comprehensive risk assessment that covers physical and behavioral health treatments. Please note that at-home tests are currently unavailable in New York.


  • How secure is the communication line, and who retains my medical records?

    Confidentiality is very important to DialCare, and we follow the same strict security protocols as we do for all our telemedicine services. All medical records are kept in a secure environment and DialCare does not share the information with anyone outside of the patient's specific request or as required by law.


DialCare Therapy

  • Where can I sign up for DialCare Therapy?

    Simply register online or call (855) 335-2255 to create and register your account.


  • How do I use DialCare Therapy?

    Members can access their account 24/7, but appointments will be held between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m seven days a week ONLINE, over the PHONE or through our DialCare mobile app. Each appointment is scheduled for 30 minutes.


  • What conditions can DialCare Therapy help with?

    Our licensed mental health professionals are trained to aid in depression, stress, eating disorders, addiction, relationship problems, anxiety, grief and more.


  • Can DialCare Therapy help with emergency crisis situations?

    If you are in a crisis situation, please call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) at 988 for help.

    If a member calls DialCare Therapy during a crisis situation, we will stay on the line and transfer the member to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for further help.


  • How much does DialCare Therapy cost?

  • Are prescriptions part of DialCare Therapy?

    No, prescriptions are not part of the DialCare Therapy plan.


Dialogue

  • How is Dialogue different from DialCare Therapy?

    Dialogue and DialCare Therapy use the same network of counselors, but treatment is tailored toward middle and high school students age 11 and older and implemented through the school district.


  • Why is Dialogue needed?

    Dialogue connects students with a licensed and trained mental health professional who can listen and help them cope, navigate and overcome the unique set of challenges faced by many teens in middle and high school.


  • Who can use Dialogue?

    Students in 6th-12th grade, 11 years old and up who are enrolled in a participating middle or high school.


  • Can university or college level schools use Dialogue?

    Universities and colleges interested in offering mental telehealth services are welcome to use DialCare Therapy. Call (844) 677-2255 or visit our Schools page to learn more and request a proposal.


  • I'm with a school/school district and interested in Dialogue. How do I sign up my school?

  • I'm a student, teacher or staff member and interested in getting my school/district to participate. What do I do?

    Simply contact your administrators and let them know about Dialogue Virtual Student Counseling. We'd love to answer any questions and help them sign up.


  • How much does Dialogue cost?

    The school district pays a low monthly fee for the entire student body. Based upon the district agreement, students will either have free, unlimited counseling sessions or be given a maximum number of appointments for the school year. Once the maximum is met, students can continue receiving counseling sessions through DialCare Therapy buy paying a low consult fee.


  • How do I make an appointment?

    Once a student has completed registration and parental consent procedures, they can schedule an appointment ONLINE, over the PHONE or through our DialCare mobile app. Appointments are available Monday - Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.


  • What conditions can Dialogue help with?

    Our licensed mental health professionals are trained to aid in depression, stress, eating disorders, addiction, relationship problems, anxiety, grief and more.


  • Can Dialogue help with emergency crisis situations?

    If a student is in a crisis situation, they should call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) at 988 for help.   • Are prescriptions part of Dialogue?

    No, Dialogue does not allow medications to be prescribed to participating students by any of our contracted mental health professionals.


  • How does parental consent work?

    The first time a student logs into their account, they will receive an alert to answer a series of questions to determine if parental consent is necessary. If a student does not meet the legal requirements set forth by their state, they will be required to obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before scheduling a consultation. The Dialogue platform will email a link to the parent or guardian the student listed during registration and will be prompted to e-sign on their student's behalf. Consent provided by a parent or guardian will be kept on file and is valid for one calendar year.


  • How do I give parental consent?

    Parents or guardians may provide consent on behalf of their student either via e-signature through the Dialogue platform or by downloading and signing a printed version of the form. Hand-signed consents can be emailed to [email protected].


  • When is parental consent necessary?

    Parental consent is necessary for most students under the age of 18. Exemptions may be allowed for: suicidal thoughts, treatment for alcohol/drug abuse, past or current mental, physical or sexual abuse. Exemptions may also be in place if they are at least 16 and currently live apart from family while managing their own finances.


DialCare Psychiatry

  • Who can use DialCare Psychiatry?

    The DialCare Psychiatry Program is available to members 14 or older and does not prescribe DEA-scheduled controlled substances.

    Prescriptions are immediately sent to your preferred pharmacy for easy pickup. Psychiatrists are able to prescribe from a limited formulary.

    Our specialist profiles display information about each professional, including specialty, gender and language. This information will display when making your specialist selection online.


  • Will I continue to meet with the same provider?

    You'll choose a provider who meets your needs and preferences. You'll see the same provider on a consistent basis to have continuity of care. If you wish to switch to a different provider, your request can be accommodated.


  • Will I be able to schedule recurring appointments? If so, how far in advance can I schedule?

    At the end of the visit, your provider will schedule a follow-up if the specialist deems it necessary. At this time, only the next visit can be scheduled.


  • What do I do if I feel I am in immediate danger of self-harm?

    If you are in immediate danger of self-harm, call 988.


DialCare Teledentistry

  • Teledentistry Overview

    Teledentistry gives you 24/7 access to dentists in your state, even on holidays or while you're traveling. You can consult with these dentists for common dental issues such as broken, chipped, sensitive or misaligned teeth. When medically appropriate, teledentists can also prescribe short-term, non-DEA controlled medications and have them sent to the pharmacy of your choice for added convenience.

  • How do I use DialCare Teledentistry?

    After you sign up and provide your dental history, you can request a consult 24/7 all year, including holidays, ONLINE, over the PHONE or through our DialCare mobile app.

    While teledentistry can be used for a myriad of non-emergency dental issues, it is not to be used for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

    Absolutely! Teledentistry is available while you're traveling anywhere within the United States.

    Virtual Vet is used for obtaining advice and guidance on pet parenting, quality of life, an ongoing illness or answers about preventive medicine.


  • Can Virtual Vet help with an emergency?

    If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency and needs immediate attention, please take them to your nearest veterinary hospital.


  • How much do phone and virtual visits cost?

  • Can I use Virtual Vet while I'm on the go?

    Absolutely! DialCare Virtual Vet is available while you're traveling anywhere within the United States.


  • Can I request the same veterinary professional each time?

    Virtual Vet does not establish a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR). Your provider is based upon availability at the time a virtual visit is requested.


  • Are prescriptions part of Virtual Vet?

    At this time, Virtual Vet does not allow medications to be prescribed by any of our contracted licensed veterinary professionals.
